This diet is designed for people who are overweight and or obese and want to successfully lose 2-5lbs per week. The protein restriction is probably the most important part of the diet for overweight and obese. Protein restriction not only stimulates FGF21, but it stimulates the pathways to turn on non shivering thermogenesis. You don’t get this benefit when you are eating protein. Whereas, white adipose tissue is “beiged” and Brown Adipose Tissue is procured. This specialized tissue is missing in overweight and obese people. It is the body’s most potent way to burn fat, glucose, energy etc. These tissues can burn energy at 300% more than other tissue. This tissue also helps soak up the glucose from the blood and is most likely the reason this diet has shown to reverse diabetes and insulin resistance. If you haven’t seen my CGM results on other videos on this channel, I recommend you inspect. This diets ability to lower blood glucose and insulin to normal levels immediately is going to make this diet a new option for diabetics, overweight and obese. The main things that will prevent you from being successful on this diet are if you’re vitamin d3 levels are below 100. My levels are 144 and I didn’t start losing massive weight until my levels hot over 100. Whereas, this will probably help increase more autophagy to help clear cells of metabolic roadblocks. However, FGF21 also stimulates your appetite to crave meat/protein and water. However, once you eat the carbs, fruit, fruit juice the cravings go away until your next meal. My fasting morning blood glucose is just about 70 each day, about 30 points lower 30 days ago.
